So you get married, you do the ceremony thing, usually after legalizing it with a marriage license. So you have to get a license to get married? Where does the Constitution say that it is any of government's business who, or whether, you marry? IT DOESN'T!Does the license insure a good relationship? No.Does the license prevent breakups? No.Does the license make breakups any smoother? No.So what does a marriage license really do and why should the government care? Marriage licenses, like any other license, is really an instrument of Equity/Maritime/Civil jurisdiction. It places not only negotiation of breakup settlements under foreign jurisdiction, but it also places your children under ownership of the state! If you have children while under a licensed marriage, or just present yourselves as formally married, then you are mearly wards over your children and "the state" can take them away under any pretense or excuse.To quote a paragraph from the VOCAL home page:

So what kinds of standards are Children's Services applying to child care that over 95% are found to be "false allegations"?Millions of americans are growing up listless, disassociated, depressed, inconsiderate, with "don't care" attitudes and are unable to form close bonds or lasting relationships with others. This problem is known as Attachment Disorder and has become epidemic in our society.
Children's Services departments are doing more to promote that disorder, than they are doing to curb child abuse. Surely, this bodes ill for our future.Americans are afraid of touching. They are afraid of opening up to each other. I keep hearing from women that they don't enjoy sex, but sex is reduced to wham-bam. For all the hype on intimacy in relationships, we have less of it. Research has shown significant health benefits from touch. It lowers cholesterol, it boosts the immune system, it fights depression, it connects people. We have government agencies all over the country, with far too much consistency to be accidental, which operate in a manner as to promote mental and physical ill health.Part of the problem is, we no longer have any rights. We are coerced at every turn to accept "licensing" which grants permission to that which is rightfully ours to begin with, including our own children.
